MILAN ( – Wm Capital has signed an agreement with Bata. The group, a leader in the footwear retail sector with a network of direct and franchised stores in Italy and around the world, aims to promote its new products and search for affiliates for its network with the support of the AZ Franchising media system. The agreement foresees the presence of the Bata brand in the magazine and on the AZ Franchising portal for the whole of 2018. “A leader like Bata in the retail footwear sector confirms, with this agreement, the trust towards AZ Franchising and demonstrates the potential of our instruments and the consistency in the activity that the AZ Franchising system has been developing for years, especially in the development of its network and the leading brands of the national and international market”, said Wm Capital President Fabio Pasquali. The Bata Shoe Organisation operates worldwide through subsidiaries of the parent company owned by the Bata family, with a network of approximately 5,300 points of sale and 35,000 employees in over 70 countries serving more than one million customers a day. In Italy it operates through Compar, founded in 1931, and present with over 235 direct and franchised stores.
