MILAN (AIMnews.it) – Digital Magics, together with Innogest, Seeds & Chips and Federalimentare Giovani will support industrial partners in the calibre of Amadori, Cereal Docks and Finiper Group of FoodForward, an acceleration program coordinated by Deloitte and dedicated to innovative projects and startups in the food sector and retail. The goal is to make Milan a global foodtech hub, combining Italian tradition and excellence in this sector with the ability to create catalysts for technological solutions from the main international innovation hubs. The acceleration program will remain open until July 29: up to 7 startups will be selected, which will have access to an initial equity investment of 150,000 euros overall, and a support in terms of services and advice equal to a countervalue up to 350,000 euros. Moreover, at the end of the acceleration program the project partners have already confirmed their willingness to make further investments up to 1 million euros. Between January and May 2019 there will be a 15-week acceleration program, made up of project development and consolidation, management training, discussion sessions with mentors and experts in the sector and networking with entrepreneurs, managers and investors from the Deloitte and the FoodTech ecosystem network.
