MILAN (AIMnews.it) – Revenues up to 28.7 million euros, +12.1% compared to 2017. EBITDA margin rises from 4.1% in 2017 to 16.2% in 2018.
“2018 was a year of great satisfaction both on the technological front, with the confirmation of Cogito’s world leadership, and on the commercial front. We complied with the guidance on turnover and EBITDA, at 16.2% with growth of 343%, in a market that is gradually maturing in which artificial intelligence is increasingly establishing itself as a strategic lever for competitiveness and development. In the enterprise segment, we had good growth in Italy, Spain and the UK with the acquisition of important new contracts and in the USA in the government sector. We have consolidated the process of evolution of the business model linked to the sale of recurring licences compared to perpetual licences (the first few now stand at 72%), recording on this important aspect a CAGR 2016-2018 of 61.2%. These excellent results were also achieved by increasing margins on the Professional Services activities and, at the same time, by optimizing costs while leaving room for significant investments in R&D and the development of new commercial channels that represent essential assets in the company’s strategy”, comments Stefano Spaggiari, CEO Expert System.
