MILAN (AIMnews.it)- Attention to ESG issues is growing across Europe. This is demonstrated recently by the “European SRI Study 2018”, elaborated by Eurosif. The research shows a steady growth of sustainable and responsible investment strategies. The “ESG Integration” strategy is the one that is growing the most (+27% CAGR 2015-2017), reaching management assets 4,000 billion euros worth in Europe. As far as the Italian market is concerned, few institutional investors lead the sector of sustainable investments. Despite this, the share of ESG-compliant investment funds offered to retail investors has reached record levels (according to a survey conducted by FFS and Doxa, 45% of retail investors have declared their willingness to invest in ESG). Global attention to these issues is also growing. The 2016 Global Sustainable Investment Alliance notes that globally, assets managed with ESG-based investment strategies amount to $23 trillion, an increase of 25% over 2014.
